Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning as fans are aware were in involved in the shoot for this film late last year where Kristen Stewart plays the lead role of the lead singer Joan Jett in the new adaptation set in the 70’s called “The Runaways” see previous posts for on set photography! Video below, currently been out on You Tube approx 3 days at the time of writing!

The preview trailer is out in HD it’s short at approx 48 secs but this is as far away from Twilight as you can get but you could find some similarities.

This film is being aired at the Sundance Film Festival which starts soon in Park City, Utah. For those who live stateside this may be worth a look as K Stew and possibly R Pat could be there as this is a major celeb magnet event.

Very interesting to see what happens with this film as this will help Kristen branch out into other film genres and not get in the dreaded typecast trap of forever playing a Twilight role, Emma Watson in the Harry Potter series of films is a name that springs to mind in a similar situation, we think this is not the case with Kristen!
